This weeks SIP Activities WP6

It seems like every week gets longer and the shelter in place gets further away from being over.  May 31st was the next date that it was extended to but now my mom said not to get too excited its going to happen in phases.  I am hoping that once it is officially summer break, things will start to get better.  But, nothing to look forward to this summer either.  We did bring our boat home from storage and might get a new one so that is exciting.  I am ready to get out on the water, which will also be different than other summers too!  My brother is a senior this year and is supposed to be graduating in a few weeks and they don’t know how that is going to work out either.  This is definitely a time that I wont ever forget!

WP6 Summer Time

Another week in Shelter In Place and another week of trying to find things to do.  This week I actually went on a bike ride not with a family member but with some friends.  Of course we were outside and kept our social distance, but it was nice to be with people outside of my family.  I miss school.  I never ever thought I would say that but there it is, I did!  Now that the normal school year is almost over and it will officially be summer, I am looking forward to that.  It means warm weather, weekend boating and skiing and good times.  Even if SIP gets extended at least there are other out door things that I can do!  I am sure that everyone is ready for this to be done! Stay healthy!

WP6 Extended SIP

Yesterday my mom told me that the shelter in place was extended another month and I let out a huge sigh.  If anyone knows me knows that school is not my favorite place.  Being at home for this long though has mad me miss school and miss my friends.  I actually told my mom I was ready for this to be over and ready to be back at school in “normal” daily life.  I would much rather be in class with teachers and students than learning at home on a computer with my mom helping me.  I do try and keep busy building RC cars going on walks with the dogs or riding my bike but after so long even that is boring!  Can this just be over already!!!

WP5 Shelter In Place on your Birthday

We are still Shelter in Place.  Easter was on April 12th and it happened to be my birthday.  Waking up I was not super excited because we were supposed to have a party and that had to be cancelled.  But my mom planned a pretty great day for me anyway.  It started with pancakes for breakfast, my favorite.  Then she created a scavenger hunt leading me on a driving hunt for my presents.  She had my brothers help out and on some of our friends door steps were presents with a balloon tied to them.  Each one had a golden egg with a clue of where the next gift was.  She drove me to each place I told her and collected my gifts and still obeyed the social distancing we are supposed to!  The hunt finally ended with a brand new dirt bike! Best day ever!
